Returns Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

1. About this policy

1.1 This Returns Policy applies to trailers, parts, and accessories purchased from Forgeline Group Pty Ltd (ABN 72 695 157 512) (Trailmaster, we, us, or our) and/or our authorised dealer network.

1.2 Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), and where there is any inconsistency between this policy and the ACL, the ACL prevails.

2. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

2.1 Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2.2 A major failure generally occurs where, for example, you would not have purchased the product had you known of the issue, the product is significantly different from how it was described, the product is substantially unfit for its usual purpose, or the product is unsafe.

3. Change of mind returns

3.1 We do not offer change-of-mind returns on trailers, parts, or accessories. We encourage you to check product specifications carefully, or speak with your authorised dealer or us, before purchasing.

3.2 This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods, as set out below.

4. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods

4.1 If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photos of the issue.

4.2 If your purchase was made directly from Trailmaster, please contact us directly using the details below. If your purchase was made through an authorised dealer, please contact that dealer in the first instance, as they will assist with assessing and progressing your claim.

4.3 Where a trailer is affected, please also refer to the New Trailer Warranty Terms and Conditions, available at trailmasterindustries.com.au/warranty/, which set out how to make a warranty claim.

4.4 Where a fault is confirmed, we will, in accordance with the ACL and any applicable warranty, arrange for the item to be repaired, replaced, or refunded.

5. How to request a return

5.1 To request a return, contact us on 1800 872 456 or support@trailmasterindustries.com.au, or speak with your servicing authorised dealer, and provide:

  • your order number or proof of purchase;
  • a description of the reason for the return; and
  • photos of the item, where relevant (for example, for faulty or damaged goods).

5.2 Assessment timeframes vary depending on the circumstances of the claim. Some matters can be resolved quickly, while others may require further investigation by our team to ensure a fair and transparent outcome. We will keep you informed of progress throughout.

6. Refunds

6.1 Approved refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

6.2 Refund processing times vary depending on the circumstances of the claim, particularly where investigation is required to ensure a fair outcome. We are committed to transparency throughout this process and will keep you updated.

7. Trailer orders

7.1 Where you order a trailer directly from Trailmaster, your order is contracted directly with us. When you order through an authorised dealer, your order is contracted with that dealer, and any cancellation, deposit, or order change is subject to the terms you agree with the dealer.

7.2 You can find your nearest authorised dealer using our Dealer Locator at trailmasterindustries.com.au/find-a-dealer/.
